Key Responsibilities
  • Drive recruitment efforts, utilising job boards, building talent pools, headhunting, and leveraging platforms like LinkedIn to meet recruitment KPIs
  • Manage onboarding and compliance to ensure OFSTED regulatory standards are met
  • Use your HR qualification or be supported to work towards one, with access to an external HR line for additional support
  • Oversee compliance functions, including health and safety and GDPR, ensuring high standards are met
Who We’re Looking For ⚠ Please do not apply unless you:
  • Have internal recruitment experience within children’s homes (ideally) or care (at a minimum) – agency recruitment experience is a bonus but not a substitute
  • Have experience onboarding staff into children’s homes (ideally) or care (at a minimum), with essential compliance knowledge of OFSTED and/or CQC regulations
  • Live within a two-hour drive of either Manchester or Cheshire – applications outside this radius will not be considered
Additional qualities that will make you a great fit:
  • Proactive, creative, and confident in recruitment strategies
  • Strong understanding of compliance and onboarding, with excellent attention to detail and familiarity with regulations and standards
  • Some HR or operational experience, or the willingness to grow into these areas with provided support
The Details
  • Salary: £35,000 plus a £5,000 performance bonus per annum, paid quarterly
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 9–5
  • Travel: Monthly meetings in Manchester and quarterly overnight stays in Plymouth
  • Location: This is a remote role, but you must live within a two-hour drive of either Manchester or Cheshire
  • Essential: A full UK driving licence and access to a car
